Do these fit in a hanging file or will they stick out and interfere with the drawer? I think they are longer than the typical hanging file folder. They are good for holding more papers than a regular folder. I use them for keeping craft supplies easily visible and stand them in a bankers box sized plastic tote.
Does the envelope folder expand? The folder does not expand. However, depending on paper/cardstock wt it can hold a lot of paper. I use them to hold my cardstock 8.5x11 wt is 60# - 110#. Get around 30 to 50 sheets in ea pocket. That is the reason I purchased these.

How many Pages will these envelopes hold? At least 250 pages. I was able to put a workbook in it and snap it closed.
Will these hold magnetic sheets with metal dies on it for storage or are they just for paper? I use them for paper documents. They expand slightly but only about a quarter of an inch. Holds about 30-sheets of paper. I would not expect they would work with or for metal die storage if the dies exceeded 1/4 inch in thickness.
